Christantus Uche Ignites Straightforward Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their first-ever European campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Missing star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct passage to the last 16, particularly after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring with his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
