I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
