The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Anger Regarding Sizing Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments without notifying every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Modifications
Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
